Ficus religiosa (also known as "sacred fig") is a species of Ficus native to the Indian subcontinent and Indochina; grown biologically slow in the winter garden and outdoors between 03-10 (no greenhouse cultivation!), home-grown from head cuttings; still rather rare Ficus species which can be grown as houseplants, very elegant, dark green leaves similar to poplar leaves with apple-green veins, potted in a well-drained, home-mixed organic substrate in a clay pot; gladly repot in spring 2024; not overfertilised, therefore robust & top healthy (100% organic quality before quantity!); not winter-hardy. ); not winter-hardy, easy to care for, light to semi-shade, 1-2 times a month showering off the leaves is very good for the plant.
