Naturally found on rocky, sun-drenched hillsides and desert plains, it is revered by local communities as a \u003cstrong\u003esacred plant\u003c\/strong\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eCharacteristics\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003eIts \u003cstrong\u003esmooth, pale bark\u003c\/strong\u003e and distinct \u003cstrong\u003eforked branching structure\u003c\/strong\u003e give the Aloe dichotoma its scientific name. \u003cstrong\u003eFleshy, pointed leaves\u003c\/strong\u003e form rosettes at the branch tips, and in winter, this striking succulent bursts into \u003cstrong\u003eclusters of bright yellow flowers\u003c\/strong\u003e. It can grow up to \u003cstrong\u003e7 meters tall\u003c\/strong\u003e, making it one of the tallest and most architectural Aloe species.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eCare\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003eAloe dichotoma is \u003cstrong\u003edrought-tolerant\u003c\/strong\u003e, \u003cstrong\u003esun-loving\u003c\/strong\u003e, and very \u003cstrong\u003elow-maintenance\u003c\/strong\u003e. It thrives in a \u003cstrong\u003esunny, well-drained location\u003c\/strong\u003e and is also happy outdoors from \u003cstrong\u003eApril to October\u003c\/strong\u003e, for example on a balcony or terrace. \u003cstrong\u003eAvoid waterlogging\u003c\/strong\u003e, especially in winter, to prevent root rot. Though it tolerates \u003cstrong\u003elight frost\u003c\/strong\u003e, it is \u003cstrong\u003enot winter-hardy\u003c\/strong\u003e, so frost protection is recommended.
