Cyperus Alternifolius - also known as ‘Papyrus’; currently approx. 50cm high incl. clay pot (and the plant continues to grow of course...); from the division of my fully organic mother plant grown in the garden (according to the picture, this plant is not for sale itself), beautifully grown strong rootstock; own propagation; sunny to semi-shady location; between 05-11. it can also enjoy the fresh air and rain outside or get its ‘feet’ wet in the pond; planted in a ceramic pot without a drainage hole with inside and outside glazing; repotting (and dividing if necessary) only in 1-2 years' time; the plant can also be grown outside. (and division if necessary) only in 1-2 years; should ideally be in water; not over-fertilised, therefore robust and healthy (100% organic quality before quantity!), leaf length grows up to 70-100cm (if the stems become ‘too long’, this is an indicator that the plant has too little light/sun... so change location...), not hardy; very grateful plant (also very popular with cats); 100% organic - never sprayed or fertilised; very suitable for rooms with dry air; have fun with your new ‘papyrus plant’!
