Ficus afghanistanica is still considered an almost unknown fig species; originating from the high mountains of Afghanistan and Iran; the wild form with a maximum growth height of 2m; as a tub plant or for planting out; rich-bearing small - super sweet fruits; hardy without winter protection down to - 20 °C; dropping leaves in winter.

Self-grown from a small seedling; potted in a well-drained, self-mixed organic substrate (repotting in 1 year is desirable), not over-fertilised, therefore robust & healthy (100% organic quality before quantity!); easy to care for (but avoid waterlogging), very beautiful specimen plant / definitely an eye-catcher!, enjoy your new Ficus afghanistanica!
