Sansevieria masoniana Mason's Congo
Sansevieria masoniana Mason's Congo is a uniquely elegant Sansevieria species with leathery leaves, which can be up to 20-25cm wide and up to 1m long, from the division of the own mother plant from the Sansevieria collection, offered is a potted side shoot (no leaf propagation!) with a mature leaf (about 50-60cm long) and a new sprouting side shoot (see picture). Picture); in 2022 1-2 new side shoots will surely be added; not overfertilised, therefore healthy and robust (quality before quantity!); potted in self-mixed permeable organic substrate (repotting only desired in 1 year); not hardy, easy to care for, sunny to semi-shady location; no waterlogging, please!
All my Sansevierias from my collection (over 100 species) grow slowly, without being massively fertilised, with the growth pause in winter. As a result, they are top healthy, robust and simply look natural. Sansevierias are not hardy, as plants are supposed to clean the indoor air and increase the oxygen content in the house. Enjoy your new Sansevieria masoniana Mason's Congo!
