Solenostemon scutellarioides / Coleus
Colourful nettle (correct Latin "Solenostemon scutellarioides"; in the past rather known as "Coleus"...); originating from tropical Africa; hybrid form; a shrub up to 1.5 m high/wide; with beautifully coloured leaves; offered plant comes from own propagation (rejuvenation of my mother plant - according to picture - this in itself is not for sale); not overfertilised therefore robust & healthy (100% organic quality before quantity! not grown in a greenhouse), two branches; easy to care for, for a slightly sunny location (too much sun could burn the fine leaves; too little sun causes a less intensive colouration of the leaves), no waterlogging; potted in a self-mixed, permeable organic substrate; repotting only desired in 1 year; beautiful as a colourful solitary plant (at the window, for example). Window, for example), fine-small flowers, not hardy; enjoy your new "Solenostemon scutellarioides" / coloured nettle!
