Euonymus Japonica
Euonymus japonicus is a bushy and broad shrub that is particularly characterised by its evergreen leaves. These not only have a beautiful dark green colour, but are also strikingly egg-shaped with serrated edges. The flowering period is between June and July, when it bears greenish-yellow flowers. They produce fruits, which are an eye-catcher on this shrub due to their pink colour. This deciduous shrub develops particularly well in well-drained, nutrient-rich soil in sunny to semi-shady, wind-protected locations. Also suitable as a potted plant for the balcony or patio, or for a conservatory (not heated in winter).
