CLIVIA

Clivia is a genus of flowering plants native to southern Africa. These plants are known for their attractive, trumpet-shaped flowers that bloom in a range of colors including yellow, orange, and red. The leaves of Clivia are evergreen and are typically long and strap-like.

Clivia plants are popular as houseplants because of their striking flowers and ease of care. They can grow up to 60 cm tall and require minimal watering and fertilization. Clivia plants prefer bright, indirect sunlight, and should be kept in a well-draining potting mix.

In addition to being grown as houseplants, Clivia plants are also popular in outdoor gardens in warm climates. They are often used in landscaping as border plants or as accents in mixed beds. Clivia plants are generally hardy and can tolerate a range of growing conditions, but they prefer moist, well-drained soil and partial shade.
