Originally from Madagascar; from own collection; own propagation (from the mother plant - as per picture - this is NOT for sale); grown cuttings - for 3-4years; rather slow growing; the flower is small, yellow and inconspicuous; not overfertilised therefore robust & top healthy (organic quality before quantity!). ), with time it will form some side shoots; potted in self-mixed permeable organic substrate (repotting only desired in 2-3years); not hardy (temperatures below 10-15C should be avoided); easy to care for (avoid waterlogging), sunny location; enjoy your new unique rarity succulent beauty - Euphorbia platyclada!

The botanical name Euphorbia is derived from Euphorbos, the Greek physician from the 1st century AD. In 1753, the botanist and taxonomist Carl Linnaeus gave the entire genus the name Euphorbia in honour of this doctor.
And yes, that's right, euphorbias are not cacti, even though many of them look pretty much like a cactus.
