Pelargonium Graveolens - Scented / Rose Pelargonium
Pelargonium graveolens - originally from the Eastern Cape/South Africa region; a shrub up to 1.5 m tall (can also be cultivated as a ‘stem’); considered a medicinal plant; the deeply incised leaves are covered with soft, glandular hairs that produce rose-scented oils; geranium oil is extracted from the leaves, which is used in the perfume industry due to its rose-like fragrance; the plant on offer comes from my own propagation - rejuvenation of my collection mother plant; not over-fertilised, therefore robust and extremely healthy (100% organic quality over quantity! - no greenhouse cultivation), multi-branched; easy to care for, very suitable for a sunny location, no waterlogging; potted in self-mixed permeable organic substrate; repotting only desired in 1-2 years; beautiful pink-coloured flowers, fine-small flowers, not hardy; enjoy your new ‘Pelargonium graveolens’!
