Philodendron 'Prince of Orange' has amazingly glossy, bright orange leaves. However, as it matures, these leaves slowly turn to a deep green. Therefore prince of orange will display several shades of salmon, orange and eventually matures to a medium light green. Philodendron prince of orange can grow up to 80cm tall. Apart from this, this philodendron is shade-loving. For this reason, Philodendron prince of orange is often kept as an indoor plant.

Prince of Orange is self-heading and not weeping. The large leaves grow from a central base. Meanwhile the older leaves fall off and make room for new growth.

From own plant collection; potted in self-mixed permeable organic substrate; repotting not desired until 2022/-23; grown without fertilizer (quality before quantity!); for a light/partial shade location, but should be protected from full sun; showering or spraying the leaves regularly is very good for the plant, enjoy your new Philodendron "Prince of Orange".
