Procris Repens / Pellionia Pulchra
Procris repens, also known as "Pellionia pulchra"; native to the tropical forests of Southeast Asia and Polynesia; as a ground cover.
Due to its decorative qualities, Pellionia pulchra will look beautiful in hanging pots as well as in terrariums, honeycomb vases or paludariums, as it loves high humidity.
It prefers bright locations with diffuse light. Direct sunlight, especially in summer, can burn the leaves. It is also important to provide high humidity and a warm location as this plant does not tolerate draughts. It prefers a well-drained substrate. During the growing season, watering should be moderate and the substrate should be kept slightly moist all the time. Pellionia pulchra does not tolerate waterlogging, so good drainage at the bottom of the pot is necessary and excess water should be removed from the saucer after watering. Watering is reduced from autumn onwards.
