Sedirea Japonica orchid, native to Asia - Japan - China - where they often grow epiphytically on trees. They grow best in medium to bright light (i.e. no direct sunlight!) with high humidity and strong air circulation. You can also grow the plant close to its natural habitat, i.e. tied to a piece of wood, but then it needs daily watering in the hotter summer months (if you grow it outside, e.g. in the garden on a tree). From autumn to winter, watering should be reduced if the plants are not actively growing during their winter dormant phase.
