Looking for something truly unique? Meet the Tephrocactus Articulatus var. papyracanthus, also known as the Paper Spine Cholla Cactus – a real conversation starter and a rare jewel in any cactus collection.
This characterful cactus grows bushy and upright, forming vertically stacked, pinecone-shaped segments (also known as cladodes) that detach easily. Each dark green stem is encircled by glochids and crowned with soft, papery-white spines that resemble natural bast fibres – hence the name.
Grown from our own succulent collection.
Potted in a self-mixed, permeable organic substrate.
Not overfertilised – 100% organic quality before quantity.
Slow-growing with a winter dormancy period.
Not hardy – suitable for very sunny indoor or outdoor locations in summer.
Avoid waterlogging and overwatering.
Repotting is only desired in 1–2 years.
You will receive the plant in the size shown.
Enjoy your new Tephrocactus Articulatus Papyracanthus – an architectural, organic sculpture for lovers of rare succulents and cacti.
