Adenia Ellenbeckii - from the original distribution area between Ethiopia and Tanzania / Africa where it is native, where it grows on rocky soils; a beautiful, highly desirable succulent. The plant is shrubby and climbing and can grow up to 3-4 metres tall. The stem/caudex (as a water reservoir) is upright, woody and thick; melon-shaped and dark green over time and can grow up to 20 cm deep and 50 cm in diameter; slow-growing (a "life companion"), easy to cultivate; for a fully sunny location; not hardy; can be watered regularly in spring and summer; watering should be stopped during the winter dormancy period so that the plant can go into a resting phase.
We offer plants from our own succulent collection; in a self-mixed, well-drained organic substrate; repotting only desired in 2-3 years; not over-fertilised, therefore robust & healthy (100% organic quality before quantity!). Enjoy your new, unique caudex beauty - Adenia Ellenbeckii!
