Aloe Vera / 100% organic medicinal plant
Genuine Aloe Vera (not a new hybrid) is known as the "First Aid Aloe" for burns and cuts. Over time, it develops a stem and is currently about 30–40 cm high and approximately 40 cm in diameter.
This plant comes from my own succulent collection and has been propagated from the offsets of my mother plant. It is not over-fertilized, making it exceptionally healthy and robust (quality over quantity!). No pesticides are used—100% organic quality.
The plant is not winter-hardy, but its juicy leaves can be harvested year-round for skin treatments. Regular leaf harvesting also helps the plant develop a beautiful stem. The Aloe Vera has been wintered appropriately in a conservatory and is potted in a self-mixed, well-drained organic substrate.
Repotting is only recommended after about a year, and when repotting, a clay pot is ideal for better stability, as the plant can become quite heavy over time. It thrives in a very sunny location and can be placed outdoors, such as on a balcony, from April to October.

Aloe vera is a plant that has been used in many cultures for centuries for its medicinal properties. The plant contains a variety of nutrients and compounds that are considered beneficial for the health of the body and skin.
Some of the most common healing properties of the aloe vera plant are:
- Skin care: aloe vera gel is often used as a soothing agent to treat sunburn, insect bites, abrasions and other skin problems. It can also help soothe skin irritation and inflammation.
- Digestion: Aloe vera juice is sometimes used to relieve digestive problems such as constipation, diarrhoea and irritable bowel syndrome. It can also help improve digestion and support metabolism.
- Immune system: Aloe vera contains many antioxidants that can help reduce free radicals in the body and strengthen the immune system. It can also help increase energy and stamina.
- Diabetes: Some research has shown that aloe vera can help control blood sugar levels in people with diabetes.
However, it is important to note that aloe vera can cause allergic reactions in some people, especially when applied to the skin. If you want to use aloe vera, you should talk to your doctor and make sure it is safe for you.
