Adenia glauca - native mainly to Botswana / Africa where it grows on rocky soils; a beautiful, highly desirable succulent from the botanical family Passifloraceae. The plant is shrubby and climbing and can grow up to 3-4 m tall. The stem/caudex (as a water reservoir) is erect, woody and thick; melon-shaped and dark green with time and can grow up to 20 cm deep and 50 cm in diameter; not yet known whether it is a male or female specimen; slow-growing (a "life companion"), easy to cultivate; for a fully sunny location; not hardy; watering can be done regularly in spring and summer; although during the winter dormant period watering should be stopped so that the plant can go dormant.

Offered is a plant from our own succulent collection (1/1); potted in a self-mixed permeable organic substrate; repotting only desired in 2-3 years; not overfertilised, therefore robust & healthy (100% organic quality before quantity!). Enjoy your new, unique caudex beauty - Adenia Glauca!
