Rauhia peruviana - originally from northern Peru, where it grows in the river valleys of the Maranon and the Utcumbamba at an altitude of up to 1500 metres. from own plant collection; strong & very well established plant - 5cm diameter of the tuber, not overfertilised therefore robust & top healthy (100% organic quality before quantity!), slow growing (with winter break between Nov.- Feb. Feb., not hardy, broad-leaved, beautiful greenish yellow flowering, potted in self-mixed permeable organic substrate (repotting only desired in 2-3years); for a sunny/bright location - between 04.-10. it can also enjoy sun/wind/rain outside; avoid waterlogging!, much pleasure with your new Rauhia peruviana.
