Aspidistra Elatior is incredibly easy to care for, making it an excellent choice for half-shady to shady locations—avoid direct sun for optimal growth! In warmer regions like Ticino, Switzerland, it can even be planted outdoors year-round. While it is generally hardy down to -5°C, winter protection is recommended in colder areas. My mother plant (shown in the pictures, not for sale) thrives outdoors for most of the year and is only brought inside in December, depending on temperatures.
