Crassula arborescens – Jade Bush with Silver-Blue Charm

Meet the Crassula arborescens, also known as the Jade Bush – a stunning succulent from South Africa, treasured for its silver-blue-green leaves edged with a beautiful burgundy border. Unlike the classic green Crassula ovata, this variety grows a little slower, making it a perfect candidate for forming into a stemmed bonsai-like tree with time.

Plant features

  • From my own succulent collection & propagation (head cuttings from the mother plant)

  • Potted in a permeable, self-mixed organic substrate

  • Not overfertilised → robust, healthy & 100% organic quality before quantity

Care tips

  • Loves bright, sunny locations – from April to October also happy outdoors (balcony, terrace, garden)

  • Avoid waterlogging at all costs

  • White flowers appear in cold wintering conditions

  • Not winter hardy – must be overwintered indoors in a bright, cool spot
