Euphorbia Sakarahaensis
Euphorbia sakarahaensis – A Madagascan Gem for the True Collector
Discover one of Madagascar’s rarest and most beautiful Euphorbias: Euphorbia sakarahaensis. This miniature, shrubby plant grows from a woody base into a naturally sculptural, low-growing mound. With its slender, branching stems and occasional flush of delicate yellow-green cyathia at the tips, it is a true treasure for botanical enthusiasts and succulent collectors.
Native to the dry forests around Sakaraha in southwest Madagascar, this Euphorbia is extremely rare in cultivation and valued for its compact growth and bonsai-like appearance.
Organically grown in our own collection, this is not mass-produced greenhouse culture, but a carefully raised, healthy and robust specimen – slow-grown without over-fertilisation, in a well-drained, peat-free, mineral-rich substrate.
Ideal for sunny windowsills or bright conservatories. Euphorbia sakarahaensis prefers full sun to bright partial shade. Water only moderately during the growing season, and keep completely dry in winter. Not frost-hardy – protect from temperatures below plus five degrees Celsius.
Like all Euphorbias, it contains a milky latex sap – handle with care.
This plant is a rare find for serious collectors of Madagascan species and succulent lovers who appreciate character, uniqueness, and authenticity.
You receive the exact, organically cultivated plant shown – a true piece of living art from the private botanical collection at TOMs FLOWer CLUB.
