Coelogyne cristata is probably the most popular and widespread of all Coelogynes; with large, wavy, immaculate white, long-lasting and fragrant flowers with their beautiful clear yellow-gold markings; growing in its natural habitat on trees and rocks at cold altitudes (up to 2500 m) in north-east India, Tibet, Nepal and as far north as China; an orchid for cool conditions, drying out in winter in cold conditions to the point where the pseudobulbs shrivel.

Offered as a fully established and flowering plant or as 1x freshly cut plant / pseudobulb for self-potting; not over-fertilised therefore robust & top healthy (100% organic quality over quantity! ), not hardy, also suitable for light/semi-shady locations (please avoid direct sunlight), planted in self-mixed permeable orchid substrate (the plant does not need to be repotted for the next 2-3 years); spray with water very often; or cultivate in the garden in a NOT-directly sunny location between May and October; enjoy your new white-flowering orchid beauty Coelogyne Cristata!
