Characteristics
Echium webbii forms an elegant, branching structure and can reach around 1.2 metres in height. Its upright stems are covered with lance-shaped, slightly hairy leaves, giving the plant a silvery sheen in sunlight. In late spring and summer, it produces spectacular blue flower spires, much loved by bees and butterflies — a true highlight for any Mediterranean or natural-style garden.
Care
This plant thrives in very sunny, warm, and dry locations with well-drained, mineral-rich soil. It is not frost-hardyand should be protected from cold and excessive moisture during winter. Ideal for pots, terraces, balconies, or Mediterranean-style garden beds. Water sparingly and avoid waterlogging.
