A Sculptural Giant from Mozambique

Sansevieria stuckyi is the largest and one of the most striking species within the entire Sansevieria genus. Native to the dry regions of Mozambique, it is known for its powerful, upright, cylindrical leaves that can reach an extraordinary height of up to 2 metres. Their form - slender, architectural, and reminiscent of green elephant tusks - gives the plant a commanding, sculptural presence in any interior.

A Collector’s Plant with Slow, Noble Growth

The offered specimen is a fully rooted, well-established leaf cutting with a young plant already emerging - propagated organically and slowly from my own Sansevieria collection.

Light, Soil & Placement

Sansevieria stuckyi is remarkably adaptable and thrives in almost any light condition - from deep shade to full sun.
• Prefers a very well-drained, mineral-rich substrate
• Not hardy; suitable exclusively for indoor cultivation in European climates
• Planted in a self-mixed organic, fast-draining substrate

You may repot the plant in a slightly larger clay pot next spring to encourage the young offshoots to develop beautifully and evenly.

Air-Purifying by Nature

Like all Sansevierias, stuckyi is known to improve indoor air quality by increasing oxygen levels and filtering airborne impurities. Its presence is both practical and aesthetic, making it an ideal plant for minimalist interiors, large rooms, studios and curated living spaces.
