Strelitzia reginae, from our own plant collection; not grown in a greenhouse; freshly repotted in spring 2025; the plant was grown from a small seedling over the previous years; potted in a self-mixed, permeable organic substrate; Repotting only desired in 2-3 years, not over-fertilised, therefore very healthy and robust (100% organic quality over quantity!), no sprays/gloss agents for the leaves, slow growth (with a winter break in winter with less watering), not hardy (the plant was always outside between 3 and 11 March), very beautiful, strong plant; it will become even stronger over time, the plant is intended for a sunny location, from spring to late autumn (without frost days) the plant will enjoy being outside in the fresh air and rain; otherwise, showering the leaves once a month is very good for the plant; avoid waterlogging at all costs; enjoy your new Strelitzia Reginae!
