Pelargonium Zonale – Upright Classic with Timeless Charm from TOMs FLOWer CLUB

Authentic & Proven Heritage
Pelargonium Zonale is the classic wild type of zonal geranium, originally native to the Eastern Cape region of South Africa. Known for its upright growth (up to 150 cm) and signature zoned foliage—green leaves with a distinctive darker "zone" in the centre—it’s the original beauty behind many modern hybrids.

Natural Elegance in Bloom
This hardy classic showcases vibrant clusters of flowers in various colours depending on the variety—typically reds, pinks, or salmon hues. Its architectural growth habit makes it ideal for large containers, sunny balconies, or Mediterranean-inspired terraces. Highly decorative with reliable summer flowering!

Organically Grown & Collector’s Quality
Our plants come from our own Pelargonium collection and propagation—fully established, already well-branched, and organically grown without over-fertilisation or chemical boosters. We prioritise 100 % organic quality over quantity. No mass-produced greenhouse goods—just strong, healthy character plants with soul!

Rare & Historic Varieties Available
Alongside this wild-type Pelargonium Zonale, we also offer a curated selection of rare, vintage, and historic zonale varieties, ideal for collectors and lovers of traditional pelargoniums. Each has been chosen for its unique growth habit, flower colour, or historical significance.

Easy to Care For
Pelargonium Zonale thrives in sunny, warm and rather dry locations, dislikes waterlogging, and prefers a well-drained, organic substrate. Our plants are potted in a self-mixed, peat-free substrate. Repotting is only needed every 1–2 years. Not winter-hardy, but overwintering in a cool, bright space is simple.
