Strelitzia reginae from my own plant collection; no greenhouse culture but pure garden culture; freshly repotted in spring 2025; the plant comes from the division of my Strelitzia plant family; potted in self-mixed permeable organic substrate; repotting only desired in 1-2 years - let the plant grow up with you first, narrow-leaved, with the reddish leaf vein, not overfertilised therefore top healthy and robust (100% organic quality before quantity!), no sprays/glossing agents for the leaves, slow growing (with a winter break in winter with less watering), not hardy (between 03. -11. the plant was always outside), very beautiful strong plant; with time it will become even stronger, the plant is intended for a sunny location, from spring to late autumn (without frost days) the plant is happy when it can enjoy the fresh air and rain outside; otherwise showering the leaves once a month is very good for the plant; avoid waterlogging at all costs; have fun with your new Strelitzia Reginae!
