VARIEGATED PLANTS
Variegated plants are those that have leaves or other plant parts with multiple colors or patterns, typically featuring a combination of green and white, yellow, or pink. The variegated pattern can take many forms, including stripes, blotches, speckles, and mottled patterns.
Variegation occurs due to a genetic mutation that affects chlorophyll production in some of the plant cells.
