Bromelia / Neoregelia Striped Fireball
Neoregelia ‘Striped Fireball’ – Organic Bromelia Beauty
Bring a touch of tropical elegance into your home with the stunning Neoregelia ‘Striped Fireball’, also known as the Striped Fireball Bromeliad or Variegated Neoregelia Fireball.
This compact hybrid cultivar, derived from tropical Brazilian species, forms a rosette of green leaves with creamy-yellow stripes and a glowing red-pink center when exposed to bright light. Small lilac-blue flowers appear deep in the rosette cup, adding to its charm.
Care & Growth:
Neoregelia ‘Striped Fireball’ grows compact and thrives in bright, indirect light or semi-shade, avoiding harsh midday sun. Keep a little water in the plant’s heart (rosette) and refresh it regularly; misting supports humidity and colour intensity. Ideal temperatures are 18–28 °C, never below 12 °C. Repot only every 2–3 years, and after flowering, new offsets (“pups”) will form naturally around the base.
This tropical Bromelia is also perfect for terrariums or bright indoor spaces, where it adds exotic form, colour, and life year-round. Easy to care for and full of character — your new Neoregelia ‘Striped Fireball’ will become a lasting highlight in any plant collection.
