This plant was propagated by me from a small seedling plant, starting with an untreated mother plant. It has been grown patiently, with an emphasis on natural, balanced growth rather than rapid production.

Repotting should generally not be necessary for another 1–2 years, depending on root development and growing conditions.
Care and Growing Conditions
Light: A bright indoor location is ideal. It tolerates some gentle direct sunlight, but protect the leaves from intense midday sun, particularly when acclimatising the plant.
Watering: Allow the upper part of the substrate to dry between waterings. Its thick leaves store moisture, so avoid excessive watering and never leave the roots standing in water.
Substrate: Use a loose, well-draining potting mix. Good drainage is essential for healthy roots.
Temperature: This is a tropical houseplant and is not frost-hardy. Keep it indoors in a warm environment.
Maintenance: Peperomia obtusifolia is generally easy to care for when given suitable light and careful watering. Its compact habit makes it suitable for shelves, desks and indoor plant collections.
