Phalaenopsis I-Hsin Adzuki Bean
Phalaenopsis I-Hsin Adzuki Bean – a striking Phalaenopsis hybrid with burgundy-red markings
A particularly distinctive Phalaenopsis hybrid with an unusual and highly decorative flower pattern: Phalaenopsis I-Hsin Adzuki Bean combines a warm yellow-golden background with contrasting burgundy-red to dark red markings.
The flowers are the real attraction of this hybrid. The strong spotting and colour contrast give each flower an almost painted appearance, making I-Hsin Adzuki Bean much more individual than the uniform large-flowered Phalaenopsis hybrids commonly found in supermarkets and garden centres.
Phalaenopsis ‘I-Hsin Adzuki Bean’ is a registered hybrid of Phalaenopsis Chiu Jih Pearl × Phalaenopsis I-Hsin Panda, registered in 2012 by I-Hsin Biotech. The hybrid can produce relatively large flowers, with mature flowers reaching around 7 cm.
With suitable care, the flowers can remain attractive for many weeks, and established plants can produce new flower spikes and flower repeatedly over the years.
A beautiful choice for orchid lovers looking for a Phalaenopsis with a more unusual flower pattern and a strong visual character.
