Phalaenopsis ‘I-Hsin Venus’ is a registered hybrid of Phalaenopsis Dragon's Gold × Phalaenopsis I-Hsin Viola Tris. Its genetic background includes species such as Phalaenopsis amboinensis, Phalaenopsis equestris, Phalaenopsis venosa and Phalaenopsis violacea – species known for their distinctive flower forms and, in several cases, fragrance.

One of the particularly attractive qualities of I-Hsin Venus is its fragrance. The flowers can remain attractive for an extended period, and with suitable care the plant can flower repeatedly over the years.
